Hunter had an up and down tournament this weekend at Riviera Country Club at the Northern Trust Open, but managed to shoot 8-under and finish in 17th place. Hunter shot rounds of 69,69,68, and 70 but admittedly left a number of opportunities out on the course. Phil Mickelson won the tournament for the second straight year, finishing at 15-under par after shooting 1-over on Sunday.
Hunter has only a short turnaround this week as he prepares for the World Golf Championships-Accenture Match Play Championship which starts this Wednesday. Hunter will get a practice round in tomorrow at the Ritz-Carlton Golf Club at Dove Mountain, before his first round matchup on Wednesday. Hunter, the 12 seed in the Bobby Jones Bracket, will tee off against 5th-seeded Mike Weir at 10:55 AM.
