Hunter finishes tied for 17th place at the TOUR Championship

After playing five matches in three days during the Ryder Cup, Hunter put together a gutsy performance in Atlanta. After a slow start to begin the tournament, Hunter played progressively over the final two days and finished tied for 17th place. Hunter shot a four over par, 74 on Thursday to open up the tournament. The East Lake Golf Club played very tough throughout the tournament, but especially on the first day. Hunter played solid golf on the front 9 and shot two birdies; but he finished Friday shooting a five over par, 75. Over the weekend, Hunter began to play well. During the third round of play, Hunter played bogey free golf and had two birdies to finish two under par, 68. During the final round, Hunter continued to play great golf and had an eagle on the 15th hole and leaded the round one under par, 69. Hunter shot a combined three under par of the weekend. Hunter’s next match will take place in Las Vegas at Justin Timberlake Shriners Hospital for Children Open in mid October.
